This river ferry crossing site became my camp grounds for the second night. The water level was rising and Ernest, the ferry operator, was verging on deciding to shut it down for 48-hrs if it rose more than one foot during the night. As it turned out, I was riding the crest of the flood waters so the ferry was not shut down the next day despite rising one foot while I slept.
