Detail of the back side of the cockpit with the cloth slid under. this is still to be trimmed and glued.
The original decking here is cut flush with the back of the cockpit combing. So later I needed to add a piece to extend it up the back of it, and then "band aid" pieces to fix the slots. It would have been much easier if the rear deck piece was cut to extend at least 1 inch into the rear cockpit.
