Lots to see in this picture.
glue lines: Yuck. Center of the picture is a glue line. It actually looks quite a bit worse in real life. Also you can see two glue lines down on the scarf at the bottom center of the picture. Again, these are cause due to my poor quality control on setting the scarf angle, or having two boards of different width scarfed together., as such my board did not run strait as it should have.
the "top to bottom" scarfs (seen as angles) in the top section of the picture, above the upper feature strip, there are at least 2 top to bottom scarfs. One is easy to see, one just to the right and up a bit is a bit harder.
the "front to back" scarfs seen as horizontal lines. These are much darker as the clampping method of my scarfs produced a fairly thick band of epoxy, which shows around 5 times the thickness, as that was the angle of my scarf joint. One is on the far left of the picture, one on the center bottom. I will not use this scarf anymore due to the obviousness of the line.
