If this board grows in to an active form for the trail users of the world, or one specific area that is great.  Currently there are lots of forums out there, which have an active member base.  Please feel free to add exsisting boards to this message thread.


The Canadian Canoe Routes web site has an active canoeing community forum.  There are individual forums setup for each province, and territory.  This forum is free, registration is required to post. http://www.myccr.com/SectionForums/index.php

The UK has a very active canoeing and camping forum at: http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/forum which accompanies the main site http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk

Some of the better canoe based websites I've found out on the net.


www.canoedaysout.com A directory of over 100 canoe trips for those who enjoy a relaxing journey through the countryside with the emphasis on their companions and the surroundings.
Keith has set up a site similar to this one... based out of the UK.

http://members.shaw.ca/marklund/ An absolutly fantastic resource for Alberta Canada paddlers.  Mark  has his forthcomming book of canoe trips online for review at this time.

http://www.gregcons.com/canoe/  The Canoe Camper, looks to be another usefull online resource for canoeing.

http://www.blazingpaddles.ca/ Rolf and Debra's page, well worth a visit.

I know there are more great resources out there... I'll add them as I find them. Feel free to reply with your favorites.
