Kayak Stern Deck End

This is the stern end of the deck, It is a solid piece of 2x4 shaped to both fit into the hull. You can not see it in this pictue but the piece does slide down into the hull, and stop on a lip. This piece also provides a recessed a lip on it to allow a gluing serface for the strips to attach to. This was from a piece of scrap 2x4 from my deck. The stern turned out well. As for the bow peice... it still needs some more work
