Here you can see one of my templates on the piece of scrap plywood, from which I will cut some of my bridges. The only trick here is that the outside edge of my template has a layer of masking tape on it, this really helped the paper template keep it's shape as I was tracing it. The two little square holes are just 'windows' that I used to tape the template to the board.

Oh look free advertising for the book: "The New Kayak Shop", by Chris Kulczycki. I read this book before stitching the hull together. Not nessesary, given the information on the web, but an informative read. I may actually build one of the hulls out of this book.
