Well, it was a warmish day. I got out and varnished my canoe today.  I'm really looking forward to haveing the river clear of ice.

If you are interested in a typical yearly task for stripper owners you can check out
http://www.trailcafe.com/otherstuff/2007/Re_Varnish_strip_canoe-16-43-17-Mar-200...  It's a fairly plesant chore... one I usually do after a couple trips out in the spring.
